What the work includes

Six parts of processing support.

A closer look at the work, so you can decide where your team needs support.

  • Documents & disclosures

Request signed initial disclosures and supporting borrower documents. Under Option B, your loan officer handles this part before the file goes to underwriting.

  • Third-party items

Order items such as title and homeowners insurance, bringing the supporting pieces into the loan file.

  • Submitting to underwriting

Submit the loan file to the lender for underwriting review. The lender makes the underwriting decision.

  • Condition follow-up

Work with the borrower to address underwriting conditions and gather the information needed to prepare for closing.

  • Closing coordination

Coordinate the processing work through closing, with the lender and closing contacts involved in the remaining arrangements.

  • Post-close review

Complete a post-close audit of the file as part of the recorded processing scope.
